Practice Group Leader, Ballarat

WorkCover | TAC

Sorting out issues and choosing the best path to secure her clients the best results from a maze of compensation entitlements is what matters most to Katalin Blond. Taking care to both understand her clients circumstances and ensure that they, in turn, both understand and are fully informed about her actions on their behalf is an important part of her approach to legal practice.

Down to earth, practical, thorough and efficient, Katalin typically represents injured workers and people injured in transport accidents, in compensation disputes and common law actions in the Supreme and County courts.

A self-confessed “people person,” she says nothing gives her greater satisfaction than “when a client says that we’ve made a difference for them”. Working at Slater & Gordon, she says, gives her and her colleagues, “the best tools for the job and allows us the time to be better lawyers”.

Katalin graduated from Monash University in 1988. She began working at Slater & Gordon in 2002 where she is now the Ballarat Practice Group Leader in WorkCover and TAC.

“I am driven by the desire to achieve the best result for my client. It also gives me great satisfaction when a client says that we’ve made a difference for them.”
