Jonathan Wertheim
Lawyer, Sydney
Commercial Litigation
A great lateral thinker, Jonathan Wertheim likes nothing better than finding commercial solutions for his clients that will allow them to right wrongs and get them 'back on track'.
On many occasions, clients find themselves up against large, well-resourced and aggressive corporations. Jonathan is not one to be intimidated by these corporations and in fact enjoys the challenge of supporting clients who are the underdog.
Jonathan typically handles disputes involving bankruptcy, insolvency, class actions & representative proceedings, contracts, debt recovery, and/or breaches of the Fair Trading Act or Trade Practices Act. Jonathan also has experience preparing wills and providing advice on estate planning.
Whatever the client's dilemma, Jonathan tackles the hard questions head on, striving to quickly identify the real issues at hand and then head them off with practical, outcome-focussed advice.
Jonathan graduated from University of New South Wales in 2007 and joined Slater & Gordon in the same year. Working in the commercial litigation practice area Jonathan is well respected by both colleagues and opposing lawyers.
