Though not a lawyer, Chris Prast’s extensive experience in all aspects of litigation gives him great insight into the challenges workers and their families face when they need assistance most.
As managing law clerk, Chris has dedicated his professional life to helping lawyers to maximise their potential. His clear understanding of what’s required to obtain maximum results is backed by 23 years’ experience and his involvement in conducting litigation in every court in Western Australia.
Direct, down to earth and a regular advocate on behalf of clients in Workcover and the Administrative Appeals Tribunal since 1993, Chris has an established reputation as a passionate advocate for the rights of workers.
Restoring balance between unequal parties and having a positive influence on people’s lives is an opportunity he takes seriously and tackles with good humour and tenacity.
Chris was appointed a Managing Law Clerk by the Barristers Board of Western Australia in 1984. He joined Slater & Gordon in 2001 and is the firm’s Practice Manager.
