Australian Medical Liability
Slater & Gordon QLD Medical Negligence and Personal Injury drinks - 27 November 2008
To toast the launch of "Australian Medical Liability", a practical reference source book and commentary for all legal practitioners interested in the law of medical negligence, co-written by Slater & Gordon's national medical negligence practice group leader Bill Madden, the medical negligence and personal injury team from Slater & Gordon's Queensland practices will be hosting a small drinks party on the evening of 27 November 2008 between 6pm and 8pm.
Margaret Brain, the Queensland medical negligence state practice group leader will be welcoming guests which will include fellow personal injury and medical negligence legal practitioners, along with medical and medio-legal experts specialising in the field.
To help celebrate Bill Madden’s new book, Slater & Gordon Brisbane will host a small gathering on 27 November 2008.

Brisbane Office Opening
Deputy Prime Minister the Hon Julia Gillard MP (and also a former Slater & Gordon partner) recently opened the firm's new CBD office, joining a number of distinguished guests who attended to celebrate the rapid growth that the practice has experienced in Queensland since first opening it's doors in 2005.
Slater & Gordon's 29 sites across Australia now include two offices in Queensland in Brisbane and Southport, with ongoing expansion plans recently boosted by the October announcement of the acquisition subject to due diligence, of the personal injuries practice of Carter Capner Solicitors.
