What is conveyancing?
Conveyance is the official transfer of property from one person to another, and involves the drafting of all the relevant legal documents that is necessary for the transfer. Who is allowed to complete conveyance work?
Conveyancing is usually completed by a conveyance lawyer or a licensed conveyancer. Generally the process will take 4-6 weeks during which they will perform a number of legal requirements in real estate transactions such as title searches, checking restrictions on the property, handling councils and prepare legal documents.
