Maria’s particular experience is in general litigation, property and vehicle damage, debt collection, enforcement of orders, insurance indemnity and wills, as well as crime, mainly for traffic and summary offences dealt with in the Magistrates Court.

Cultural heritage
Maria’s parents were first generation immigrants to Australia from Greece arriving in the 1960s. Maria grew up in the Melbourne suburbs of Preston and Northcote. She studied Greek to VCE level and from 2003-2005 worked as a volunteer lawyer with the Australian Greek Welfare Society offering legal advice to disadvantaged Greek-Australians.
Maria is fluent in the Greek language.
