Manisha Blencowe

Manisha Blencowe is a commercial litigator who is experienced in class action litigation as well as the negotiation and litigation of individual claims. Manisha recently finalised the settlement of a landmark class action for property owners in outer Melbourne whose homes were impacted by an adjacent landfill.

Manisha is experienced in claims for a range of environment based torts, including related to landfill impacts, heavy metals, and flood damage. Her experience also extends to claims for executive employees on termination of their employment. She regularly acts for individuals and companies, particularly small and medium operators who have suffered losses from dealings with large corporations.

Manisha’s successful resolution of a broad range of disputes and litigation includes work in the areas of intellectual property and confidential information – including Federal Court proceedings against Telstra. She has also been involved in professional negligence claims against financial advisors , as well as litigation challenging the rejection of claims by insurers.

Manisha has negotiated settlements and successfully litigated contractual disputes against major corporations and institutions, including Coles Myer and various Australian universities
