Gerard Peter Rees - Lawyer Canberra

State Manager, Canberra - Medical Negligence Claims, Workers Compensation Claims, Industrial Law Claims, Criminal Law Claims, Employment Law Claims

Gerad Rees Gerard Rees’ strong communication skills, effective method of preparation and easy going nature are only few of the components behind the selection to have Gerard as the practice group leader in the Canberra office of Slater & Gordon.

The thing that attracted Gerard to these areas of the law was a genuine desire to assist people who are unable to adequately represent themselves. “The greatest aspect of this job is being part of a team that is able to obtain good results for the ones that matter most, the clients.”

Typically Gerard deals with a range of clients spanning from people seeking general compensation and workers/union members to criminal law cases.

Gerard prides himself on his communication and ability to address the needs of his clients and to keep them informed as to the progress of the matter thus building an excellent rapport.

Gerard’s vast experience has been gained not only by his position in the legal field but also through being involved in areas outside of the law. Those various roles include:
    · President and Chairman of Directions – the largest drug and alcohol agency in the ACT
