Seasonal / Summer Clerkships provide students with the opportunity to experience firsthand what it is like to work at Slater & Gordon. The Slater & Gordon Clerkship Program is held in Victoria (Seasonal Clerkship Program) and NSW (Summer Clerkship Program).
In Victoria, the Firm has three intakes each year in January/February, June/July and November/December and the placements run for four weeks.
In NSW, the placements run for 8 weeks over the summer break from November to February.
Only students in their penultimate year of study will be eligible.
As a Seasonal / Summer Clerk, you will be allocated to a combination of our firm’s practice areas. During your time with the firm you will be exposed to a wide range of experiences such as preparing court documentation, meeting with clients, attending court & mediations/conciliations and drafting correspondence. In addition, you will work alongside our talented team of legal practitioners and develop a range of new skills.
